AUREEN PINTO WAGNER, Ph.D., is a Clinical Child Psychologist who specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders in children and adolescents. She is the author of three critically acclaimed books, Up and Down the Worry Hill: A Children's Book about Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and its Treatment, its companion guide What to do when your Child has Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Worried No More: Help and Hope for Anxious Children. Dr. Wagner received her education at St. Agnes College, the University of Iowa, Yale University Child Study Center and Brown University, and started her professional career as an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry. In the course of her work with anxious children, Dr. Wagner recognized the great need for therapy and education for children, adolescents and their families. Dr. Wagner currently dedicates her time to a clinical practice, lecturing, writing and raising her two young children. Dr. Wagner provides training workshops and consultation for clinicians and school personnel all over the country in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for anxiety disorders. She frequently presents seminars and leads discussion groups on anxiety for parents and families and contributes regularly to television and newspapers as an expert on anxiety-related topics in children and adults. PAUL JUTTON is an artist and illustrator living in Washington DC. He studied graphic design at the Rochester Institute of Technology. |
